Passion and vitality have characterized Sari Delmar’s investment in her work from its earliest stages. Beginning precociously with the launch of her first music magazine in 2003, she would go on, in 2009, to found a boutique marketing and communications agency in Toronto, Ontario. Maintaining a team of fifteen, Delmar‘s agency—AB Co.—became a trusted partner to start-ups and large corporations, such as GooglePlay, Jägermeister, French Connection, Universal Music Group, Live Nation, among others.
In a culmination of these early efforts, by 2015, she had won both a Stevie Award in the Young Entrepreneur Category and an International Women Achievers Award in the Entertainment category. Recognizing her rise, ProfitGuide listed her in its Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs Rising Stars list, the Globe & Mail profiled her in its pages, and she travelled the globe to speak at a number of conferences.
In 2016 Delmar moved to the US, bringing her talents to bear at the Concord Music in LA. She subsequently relocated to NYC for a stint at experiential and events agency MKG, before assuming her current position as the Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships for the Participation Agency–an award-winning experiential and design agency. At the PA, Delmar leads brand partnerships and the groundbreaking Outpost/Basecamp artist program.
Beyond this, Delmar sat on the Global Board of Directors for nonprofit Women in Music for four years and remains involved in a number of nonprofit organizations.
In Sari Delmar we find a formidable figure in the space where music and brands connect. Combining a unique and comprehensive perspective with an unrelenting pace, she has moved seamlessly between launching her own unique ventures in the past to bringing her relentless passion to help grow companies in the present and future.
